Our Wasabi Recurve hooks are ideal for most styles of saltwater fishing, but they are most effective when fishing in deep water when bites are harder to detect and striking is less effective. They're designed to "self hook" your fish, and usually in the corner of the mouth, which makes them ideal if you're hoping to release your catch. These hooks are made in Japan from high quality carbon steel and the offset points are chemically sharpened for improved penetration.
